At Lifelines Preservation Services, we are passionate about what we do. We see gravestones as the covers of unique stories, each with its own special narrative. Crafting a gravestone involves meticulous thought and care, and maintaining its integrity over time is equally vital.
Natural elements like weather and pollution can gradually damage stones, obscuring inscriptions and diminishing their beauty. While cemeteries are responsible for general upkeep, they often overlook tasks such as cleaning mud, dirt, or trimming encroaching grass from grave markers. Regular cleaning is essential to preserve the gravestone’s appearance, and that’s where we step in.
Our Services:
We utilize natural bristle brushes, soft cloths, and premium biodegradable, pH-neutral cleaners. We fully document our work with before-and-after photos to demonstrate immediate improvements and provide follow-up documentation over weeks and months to show continued enhancement.
Driven by a sincere commitment to care, our services are fee-based. Prices vary based on marker size, the extent of cleaning required, and travel distance. We approach each stone with the utmost respect, curiosity, and attention.
Our Process:
- Initial Contact: Provide the address of the cemetery, the location of the stone, and a photo of the stone (if available).
- Site Visit: We will conduct a site visit and take comprehensive photos for our records.
- Estimate: Following this, we will provide you with a detailed estimate of costs.
- Scheduling: Once we agree on the pricing, we’ll coordinate the cleaning schedule. We offer discounts for multiple stones within the same cemetery.
We are able to handle various kinds of memorials – single & double upright, flat, beveled or slant markers, memorial ledgers – and all stone types – sandstone & brownstone, marble, granite, etc. A gallery of the work we have done is available on request.
Please Note: Scheduling may be affected by weather conditions (e.g., rain). We are unable to clean stones after the end of October or when temperatures fall below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Spring, summer, and early autumn are optimal for our cleaning services (e.g., rain). We are unable to clean stones after the end of October or when temperatures fall below 45 degrees fahrenheit.
