Keystone Wayfarer began with that question.

When I moved to Pennsylvania, I never expected history to become such an important part of my life. But the more I explored, the more I realized that the stories weren’t confined to museums, battlefields, or famous landmarks. They were everywhere.

What began as simple curiosity grew into a journey of discovery—one that continues today through Keystone Wayfarer.

Here you’ll find stories about remarkable Pennsylvanians, forgotten places, local legends, historic sites, preservation projects, and the people and events that helped shape both Pennsylvania and America. Some stories are well known. Others have nearly been forgotten. All of them remind us that history is often closer than we think.

Today, Keystone Wayfarer is my way of sharing those discoveries and the stories I uncover along the way.
