I’m a long-time resident of Schwenksville—well, technically Lower Frederick Township, just outside the borough limits. I’ve always loved history, so when I purchased my very old home on Game Farm Road, I knew I’d one day want to dig into its past. More than fifteen years later, I finally did.
In February 2024, I launched Keystone Wayfarer to document my growing love affair with local history. Each week, I share a new story about nearby landmarks and fascinating people. That’s also how I met Salford Station Spirits. Co-owner Mike reached out after seeing one of my posts—probably about my tours at Brinton Lodge, a very cool, very old, and very haunted place. From that conversation, the idea for a series was born.
The “letter” series is my way of making history fun and interactive. Each letter begins and ends the same way—but what makes it special is how you respond.
